Abstract:
In article from standpoint of philosophical analysis is disclosed concept of information society, as society, whose main resource is present knowledge. Ambiguity of interpretations of concepts of «information» and «knowledge» reflected and on differences of understanding of concepts of «information society» and «knowledge society». Author concludes, that at present modern society is only at beginning of way in advancement to knowledge society, and identifies those reasons, which impede of success of such advancement.
