Abstract:
Following article has a focus on the ideas of nationalism found in works of Greek philosophers Plato and Aristotle. Their opinion on state and ideal polity has also been taken into consideration. It was concluded that their attitude towards foreigners was drastically different and that they evaluated the place of their own country accordingly. Their ideas later became a basis for the ideology of nationalism.
