DECOMMUNIZATION: THE EXPERIENCE OF EUROPEAN COUNTRIES

Abstract:
The purpose of the article is to study the experience of processes decommunization in Europe, as well as identification of their similar and distinctive features, due to national characteristics. Related national memory and its social structuring in general, and in particular on decommunization studied by Frances Yates, Pierre Nora, Paul Ricoeur, Jan Assmann, Paul Konnertona. To achieve the objectives of the study were used methods of scientific knowledge, analysis, synthesis and logical generalization. Common and distinctive features dekommunization processes considered by the example of the Czech Republic, which is the European model for dekommunizater, Germany, which has the unique experience of political change several devices and Ukraine held since its independence several attempts to form a new state memory. Results of the study are of value both for the expert community, so will be interesting and wide range of other stakeholders. Prospects for future research is to examine the features of the local place names in different countries.
