Abstract:
He article considers the essence of Russian state patriotism, national idea, its characteristics and features. The origins of patriotism itself To maintain a favorable situation in the country, to create a common idea, to which society is moving and progressing, means of state regulation and interaction are needed, which is an institution like patriotism. The lack of a national idea and the goal of the state's movement in a certain direction is fraught with civil unrest, a negative situation in the domestic politics and a split of society into parts. The importance of the problem of understanding the phenomenon of patriotism, its origins and functions is especially important in Russia after the absence of patriotic education of the society of the 1990s, and also after the introduction of anti-Russian sanctions and the national currency crisis in the country.
