Abstract:
In this article the author considers the issues of the influence of the religious factor on the development of international terrorism in modern conditions. On the example of the so-called "Islamic terrorism" the General and special features of the influence of the religious factor on terrorist activities are highlighted. It is stated that religiously motivated terrorism acts as a special, most dangerous and deadly manifestation of international terrorism. This is largely due to the existing difference in the system of key values, as well as in the ways of their legitimization. It is determined that many Nations in the world have already realized the necessity of taking into account in domestic policy, the increasing role of religious factor in the promotion of the influence and political activity of international criminal groups in all diversity of its manifestations.
