Abstract:
The article discusses national security in the context of the transformation of Russian legislation. National security is important for any state to ensure its own security, for which sovereignty is fundamental and for the interests of citizens living in a particular state, as well as the integrity of the entire state. National security prioritizes strategic goals and the protection of the interests of the entire state. It is also a manifestation of independence, where the state as a separate entity acts in international relations and determines its own internal and suggestion policy. The main goal of ensuring national security is to create and maintain a certain political, economic, military-strategic and international position of the state, which would create favorable conditions for the development of society, the state and the individual, as well as eliminate the danger of weakening the importance and role of the Russian Federation as a subject of international law, undermining the ability of the state to realize its own national interests on the international stage.
