Abstract:

The article examines the problem of fraud in auto insurance, which is the most discussed and important among insurance market specialists. According to the insurance companies themselves, about 15-20% of all insurance payments go to scammers. Any reform of the system of compulsory insurance of civil liability of road transport owners cannot exclude all opportunities for fraudulent activities in this area. Currently, scammers use a variety of ways to receive payment from insurers, and not always technical expertise can determine the existence of the alleged damage.
