Abstract:

In this article the authors pay attention to the actual problem of human rights protection in the Internet. It is noted that the specifics of legal relations in the Internet of today is not considered by the Russian legislator. The authors also note that existing mechanisms for the protection of copyright on the Internet today do not provide adequate protection, but the problem of lack of effective means of protection of works due to the rapid and systematic changes in technologies in the Internet environment, and new ways to protect copyrights on the Internet after a certain time period again will become an ineffective mechanism. The article proposes a solution to the problem by preserving the possibility of free access to the results of intellectual work, except when the author forbids the use of his works in the Internet environment.
