Abstract:
The article was prepared on the basis of a research study on the study of the composition of foreign citizens sentenced to deprivation of liberty, as well as departmental statistical supervision of the judiciary department under the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, the Federal Penitentiary Service, statistical data of territorial bodies of the penal system, sociological surveys of more than 600 respondents , Socio-demographic characteristics are revealed through the following indicators: information on age, citizenship E, education, marital status, occupation, social status. The analysis of the socio-demographic characteristics of convicted foreign males shows that the tendency is growing to increase their number, the predominance among them of the citizens of the CIS countries who identify themselves with Islam, the increased criminal activity of persons aged 30 to 49, the lack of most socially useful links, low level of education.
