Abstract:
The article is devoted to theoretical and legal foundations of economic security as an integral component of the State national security. The genesis of economic security as a system-wide and general academic concept was researched. The analysis of the Russian Federation legislation was performed, defining the legal relationship in the sphere of economic security in conjunction with the objectives of ensuring the national security of the State. On the basis of the provisions of the existing legislation the author concludes that economic security is an integral part of national security. Moreover, in the current environment, economic security is the strategic objective of ensuring the national security of the Russian Federation. In conclusion, the article provides a systematic analysis of the Strategy of economic security of the Russian Federation for the period up to the year 2030, approved by the Presidential Decree of May 13, 2017 № 208 as the core document adopted at national level in order to implement the strategic direction outlined in the national security strategy of the Russian Federation approved by the Presidential Decree dated December 31, 2015 № 683.
