Abstract:
In the article, the electoral process is viewed as an object of public administration, and the author comes to the conclusion that in modern conditions it is necessary to develop an electronic state and electronic democracy. In addition, it becomes evident that modern electronic technologies not only confirm the legitimacy of state power through the development of democratic institutions, but also allow changing the form of democracy. State bodies being the subject of State electoral management today can provide control actions using telecommunications technology so that election procedures are subject to change.
