Abstract:
Tthe article reveals the problems of raising the retirement age. The authors attempt to identify its suitability and feasibility in conditions of modern russia. The question of raising the retirement age is considered from the different parties -citizens, employers, state it is concluded that raising the retirement age the government needs to introduce measures to promote a healthy lifestyle that will help reduce mortality in infancy and of working age will increase life expectancy. The decision about raising the retirement age would increase the number of able-bodied and, consequently, to increased competition and rising unemployment because of the insignificant amount of pensions, continued work after retirement for many pensioners is the question is a vital necessity. In conclusion, it is concluded that before deciding about raising the retirement age, it is necessary to adopt a number of adaptation measures in the field of labor including the modification of migration policies, aimed at restricting migrants ' access to works high, medium and low qualifications, not related to heavy physical labor, freeing those niches for russian . In addition, an active policy of the state, aimed at not only increasing life expectancy but also improving the quality of life of russian citizens.
