The article explores the problems associated with the emergence of a new order of choosing preventive measures against the accused (suspected) who committed crimes in the field of entrepreneurial and other economic activities. The author analyzes the judicial practice that has developed in some regions of the Russian Federation in making these decisions, examines the court's arguments in refusing to satisfy the investigators' requests for the category of criminal cases in question.
