Abstract:
Counteraction to international terrorism is carried out in various spheres, but it is important to note that the modern world community needs to unite its efforts not only in the search for terrorists and suppression of their activities, but special attention should be paid to the economic foundations for the existence and development of this illegal phenomenon. This article analyzes the notion of international terrorism and defines its economic bases. The author explores some aspects of international cooperation of states in counteracting the financing of international terrorism, concluded that the problem is still relevant and determines the circumstances that affect the development of the economic foundations of international terrorism in the modern world.
