Abstract:
The author of the article notes that the Financial Institutions Businesses Act 2008 consolidated the country's financial legislation, canceling 15 previous regulatory acts in the sphere of financial activity, including the law on commercial banks and the law on financial business, the securities market and the credit fund. In recent years, a number of legislative acts have been adopted in Thailand. So, in 2016 Royal Decree Regulating Electronic Payment Services and Royal Decree On the Regulation of Electronic Payments of Specialized Financial Institutions were adopted. October 18, 2017 in the Government Gazette was published a new Act on the payment system B.E. 2560 (2017), which entered into force on April 18, 2018.
