Abstract:
The article drew attention to gaps in criminal law, provided by article 143 of the criminal code; conducted a historical review of the development of this institution in the legislation of the Soviet period; offers are some areas for improvement of the criminal law on violation of requirements of labor protection. Objective: to define some directions of improvement of the criminal law on violation of requirements of labor protection. The following methods were used: survey questionnaires, analysis and generalization of judicial and investigation practice, historical and comparative methods. Application results. The results can be used in the activity of subjects of prevention in the sphere of labor protection.
