Abstract:
The article presents theoretical substantiation of the principle of fairness in the definition of criminal punishment and practice of its application. Purpose: to show the necessity of taking into account objective criteria of justice in the implementation of the Institute of criminal punishment. The following methods were used: logical-legal, comparative legal, sociological methods (survey, observation). The scope of the results. The results can be used in activity of subjects of prevention of the illicit manufacture of weapons.
