Abstract:
The current situation in the country and world tensions, caused by the actions of terrorist organizations, evidence of the need for effective policies to counter this negative phenomenon. In this regard, it seems necessary to study the concept and features of terrorism in the modern world, to better understand this phenomenon and to consider the main directions of countering terrorism. This article is directed to the theoretical foundations of counter-terrorism, because it is in theory, the foundations said activity receiving further implementation in practice.
