Abstract:
This article discusses the essential characteristics of intergovernmental relations at the municipal level. The author analyzes the types of intergovernmental transfers allocated to local authorities for the implementation of their mandates on local issues and individual state powers. Improving inter-budgetary relations should be directed at improving municipal financial management, in particular to improve the quality of management to local budget process, which helps to reduce the level of overdue accounts payable, increased financial planning indicators
