Abstract:
The goal of article: The article gives an overview of the roundtable, which was held May 27, 2016 at the Faculty of Moscow State University in the framework of the Tenth Congress of the Russian criminal law, which was attended by Russian scientists in international law, as well as criminologists and specialists in Russian criminal Law Method: This article uses the system and methods of historical knowledge that allow to review the activities of the state as a holistic political-legal categories in the field of combating terrorism and terrorist crimes. Results of study: The article analyzes the contemporary doctrinal provisions and concludes on the need to improve the forms of cooperation among states in the fight against terrorism and the creation of new international structures to ensure the inevitability of punishment for terrorist crimes, and also formulated proposals on the need to achieve inter-state agreements in the areas that to date, are not regulated by international agreements, and new counter-terrorism capabilities. The article concludes on the need to improve the Russian criminal legislation, formation evaluation criteria of criminal professionalism, the definition of terrorism as a social phenomenon. The originality and practical value: This article may be of interest to undergraduate and postgraduate students of international law and Russian criminal law, as well as professionals involved in counter-terrorism, national and international levels.
