Abstract:
The article shows the relevance of the problem of studying the psycho-physiological characteristics of the individual and substantiates the idea that if the investigative and judicial authorities do not take them into account, then the causes and conditions contributing to the crime are not sufficiently revealed. Psychophysiological features are an integral part of the preventive purposes, as a card file of psychopathic personalities, including those who have not committed crimes, should be kept. The need to identify the psychological and physical properties of the accused is based on the requirements of criminal and criminal procedure legislation.
