Abstract:
This article examines the legal principles and the financial and legal policy as the foundation of banking supervision in the Russian Federation. It is presented the definition of monetary policy as a form of financial and legal policy. It is studied the local-law policy of credit institutions. It is considered the importance of legal principles in general, the principle of the rule of law in particular, as the foundation of banking supervision.
