Abstract:

If the Constitution of Serbia of 2006 laid the modern basis of the status of Autonomous entities in Serbia, the Statute of the Autonomous province of Vojvodina 2014 became a model for its implementation. Thus, the Statute has provided for the establishment of rationalized system of government in the Autonomous province of Vojvodina, in which the Central place is featured to the Supreme body of the Autonomous province - the Provincial Assembly. This article presents a study of the legal status and powers of a Provincial Assembly as the Supreme body of the Autonomous province of Vojvodina.
