Abstract:
A huge threat to national security today are terrorism coupled with extremism, which is the damage to society from within, pursuing the aim to undermine the well-being of the population, to deprive him of a sense of security by committing terrorist acts against the civilian population. According to the author, one of the most effective structures to ensure public safety in our country is the Ministry of internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, the main tasks of which are protection of public order, public security, law enforcement, and the rights and freedoms of citizens. The level of training of personnel of the Ministry is considered by the author as a shield to protect the peaceful lives of our citizens from terrorism, extremism and other illegal encroachments.
