Abstract:
In recent years the number of the crimes provided by Art. 212 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation steadily grows. At the same time law enforcement officials meet difficulties with reference of these or those actions to mass riots. Especially the question concerning mass character as the criminal law doesn't define the number of participants of mass riots that has essential value of prosecution according to Art. 212 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation is particularly acute.
