Abstract:
This article is devoted to the possibility of recognizing and enforcing international commercial arbitration in countries that are not parties to the New York Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards of 1958. The article examines the degree of influence of the provisions of the Convention on the formation of national legislation in the field of arbitration and judicial practice in this field. In addition, the existing jurisprudence of recognition and enforcement of decisions of international commercial arbitration in the territory of Taiwan, as well as arbitral awards in the territory of other countries parties to the New York Convention, issued by arbitration institutions located in Taiwan.
