Value of investigation and search operations in investigation of crimes of terrorist orientation

The efficiency of investigation of crimes of terrorist orientation in many respects depends on harmonious collaboration of investigating and operational authorities. In this activity the special place is allocated to investigation and search operations which play a reference point role in investigation, help to define a circle of necessary investigative actions and the correct tactics of their production to receive necessary in the matter of the proof. Operative work to identify the circumstances of criminal acts of a terrorist nature and to identify the perpetrators is often carried out even before the institution of a criminal case; At this stage, there is a collection, generalization and analysis of operational information for the purpose of its subsequent legalization - use in the evidential process of the case. This activity should be recognized as "provisional", i.e. there is a "search for the future" search and operational support for the investigation process, carried out on the initiative of an operational officer.
