Abstract:
The aim of the work is that on the basis of foreign criminal law about responsibility for offences against internationally protected persons and institutions to formulate ways of increase of efficiency of counteraction of these encroachments according to the Russian legislation. Selected issues related to the empowerment of persons with special status, and, accordingly, recognition of their internationally protected status, are considered in the works of J. Brown, G.P. Buzzini, Y. Dinstein, T. Ingadottir, G.V. McClanahan, P.J. O'Keefe, C.L. Rozakis, A. Sanger, P.C. Szasz, C.E. Wilson, M.C. Wood. The conclusion that the native legislator must take into account positive foreign experience of criminal legal counteraction to analyzed encroachments by creating a set of separate norms on the various crimes against internationally protected persons and institutions is being made. The article is addressed to teachers, students, post-graduate students of higher educational institutions and all those interested in issues of international criminal law.
