ASSESSMENT OF THE PUBLIC DANGER OF CRIMES INVOLVING LIABILITY FOR VIOLENT CRIMES AGAINST HEALTH COMMITTED IN PRISONS

The research consists in analyzing the degree of legislative penalization of crimes against health that are committed in correctional institutions at the present stage. The model of the study is to identify and compare the sanctions of the norms of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which regulate responsibility for violent crimes. The methodology of the study is presented by a comparative-legal method. The conclusions are in the development of the author's classification of the norms of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which provide for liability for crimes against health committed in correctional institutions. The possibility of the subsequent use of the results of scientific work may consist in a comparative legal study of domestic and foreign criminal law in the field of penalization of the crimes in question. Practical significance of conclusions and recommendations can have for distinguishing competing norms that provide liability for causing harm to health, according to the degree of their penalization. The value of the study is that this is the first of its kind in the study, which made it possible to assess the sanctions of the criminal law provisions of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on liability for violent acts, the social conditioning of changes in the sanctions of these norms, their fairness and systemic character, and the criminal policy in the field of actual punishability Violent crimes against health in prisons.
