Abstract:
Due to the high level of crime in the country and the world, the problem of illicit arms trafficking is becoming increasingly important, as it is one of the main factors destabilizing the social situation and the economy. The author analyzed the main measures to combat the illegal circulation of weapons, having a general social and individual character. General social measures to counter illegal arms trafficking are implemented by state authorities and society as a whole. They are usually aimed at convincing, nurturing and using other methods, with the aim of eliminating the force of arms in the mass consciousness of the cult, targeting non-violent solutions to emerging problems, and forming negative attitudes towards the use of weapons for illegal purposes among the population.
