Abstract:
The social aspect of the relevance of the research problem is the special status of extremism in the hierarchy of social problems. Extremism, especially extremist behavior in the youth environment, is an extraordinary phenomenon, often with serious consequences for the state, society and the individual. The manifestations of extremism in the youth environment are now becoming more dangerous for society than for all past periods of the state's existence [3]. A systematic analysis of the state of the fight against extremism in the North Caucasus federal body shows that the most effective counteraction to this social phenomenon is achieved in the course of a comprehensive application: preventive measures, measures to suppress the illegal manifestation of extremism used by law enforcement bodies and actions to neutralize the consequences of manifestations of pseudo-religious extremism.
