Abstract:
Right and morality are inextricably linked with each other. Within the framework of this article the author made an attempt to examine the correlation and interrelation of the main principles of civil legislation and the "golden rule of morality". The aim of the study is to form a scientific understanding of the implementation of the "golden rule of morality" in the normative legal form through the basic principles of civil law. The field of research is civil law and legal relations formed within it. As a result of the work, the author comes to the conclusion that the "golden rule of morality" affirms the actor as the subject of behavior and obliges him to follow his own ideas about the good and the bad and is an ideally (mentally) preset behavior regulator, and believes that in the normative the provisions of Article 1 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation provide for the institutionalization of the "golden rule of morality".
