The purpose of the publication is to show the features of the criminal law policy in the field of security of the Russian Federation on the basis of amendments to the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, introduced into the Federal Law of the Russian Federation of July 14, 2022. No. 260-FZ. Conclusions obtained during the study. Amendments to the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation based on the Federal Law of the Russian Federation of July 14, 2022 No. 260-FZ, in general, are socially determined and are designed to strengthen the system of legal norms that create conditions for the security of the Russian Federation. At the same time, the new norms have certain shortcomings associated with the presence of evaluative signs of crimes, which makes it expedient to improve their dispositions. The scientific significance of the publication lies in the fact that the provisions contained in the article make it possible to carry out appropriate work to improve a number of criminal law norms that provide for liability for various encroachments on the security of the Russian Federation. The practical value of the publication.
