Abstract:
Abstract: The purpose of the research. The article discusses the participation of the public prosecutor in the interrogations of experts and specialists, as well as the examination of the conclusions they have prepared. The purpose of the study is to identify the specific features of the public prosecutor's participation in these investigative court proceedings, as well as the challenges faced by public prosecutors in maintaining the prosecution, and to provide recommendations for improving the effectiveness of their work. Results. Based on the analysis of law enforcement practice, the author concluded that expert and specialist opinions are always carefully examined during criminal proceedings involving crimes under Parts 5–7 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. It is not uncommon for an expert or specialist to be questioned in order to clarify the conclusions reached. In this article, the author provides a rationale for the need for additional or repeated examinations, discusses the tactical aspects of the public prosecutor's involvement in the questioning of individuals with specialized knowledge, and outlines the types of forensic examinations that can be used by the public prosecutor to prove specific elements of the case.
