Abstract:
The article examines the organization of political and agitation work in the Volga Military Flotilla during the period of 1942-1943. The research is based on documents from the Central State Archive of the Navy (TsGA), instructions from the Main Political Directorate of the Navy, as well as materials from periodicals and memoirs of rivermen. These documents highlight key aspects of political work, starting with the establishment of political departments in the Volga Military Flotilla. The article focuses on the results of political and agitation work during this period. The scientific novelty lies in considering not only the forms of work and results, but also the shortcomings in the work of the political department of the Volga Military Flotilla, as well as considering the work carried out as a component that forms the moral and psychological state.
