CONSTRUCTION OF UNIT INVESTMENT FUNDS IN RUSSIAN FEDERATION LAW

Sustainable development is not possible without creation of the positive investment client. The set task may be solved by creation of the transparent vehicles for attraction and investment of the capital. Unit investment fund (hereinafter - “UIF”) is perspective vehicle for solution of the this task. In this connection the author analyzed effective legislation of RF for purpose of the revealing UIF’s advantages, analyzed its’ definition, expose disadvantages and proposed the ways for rectifying of them. For preparation of the article the following methods were used - the general scientific methods (analyze, synthesis, inductance, deduction), and special, private scientific methods including formal logical and system - structural. Author makes a conclusion on the UIF’s advantages and gives an author’s definition of UIF. Conclusions may be used by investors and managers for UIF analysis as one of possible instruments for attraction and investment of the capital. Besides author’s definition may be used for further improvement of the legislation. In the article analyzed advantages of legal construction of unit investment fund, as a vehicle for collective investment. Identified the problem in the definition of the unit investment fund, correlation in regulation of its’ legal regime of the civil and special legislation. The authors definition of unit investment fund is given.
