Analysis of some scientific publications substantiates the need for the provisions of the civil law in the delivery of oil and oil products as a kind of contract of purchase - sale. Therefore, the aim of the article is a brief study of foreign experience in supply of oil and petroleum products in order to identify and apply best practices.The study is based on the application of scientific and special methods and approaches. The starting material scientific articles are only theoretical achievements of scientists and experts in relation to the supply agreement.It is proposed to consider briefly the features of a contract to supply oil and oil products in foreign countries to apply their best practices
