Abstract:
The article analyzes the legal status of the Prosecutor's office in the system of government bodies. Conducted a comparative-legal analysis of the legal status of the Prosecutor's office in the countries of the Anglo-American and the Roman-Germanic legal family. Investigated the conditionings of the assignment of the Prosecutor's office to a particular branch of functional orientation of its activity.
