Criminal laws of foreign countries on the responsibility for falsifying electoral referendum documents and voting results

The article deals with responsibility for the falsification of election referendum documents and the results of voting in the criminal law of foreign countries. The criminal laws of some foreign countries are analyzed in order to determine the characteristics of the criminal law protection against falsification of election referendum documents and voting results. The general regularities in the criminal law of foreign countries in the field of election documents and documents of the referendum voting results are found and the differences in the solution of this problem in different foreign countries are indentified. On the basis of the research the author proposes to use some of the criminal legal solutions in the field of electoral referendum documents and the results of voting against tampering in foreign countries in the criminal legislation of the Russian Federation
