Abstract:

It is considered that government involvement in the banking system affects its stability and reliability. In addition, the creation of state-owned banks, as a rule, due to the fact that there are sectors of the economy, funded or potentially unprofitable or too risky for private financial institutions. It's safe to note the trend that state banks, in essence, is a system, since they are the cornerstones of the emerging Russian banking system
