Task - to analyze historical stages and types of restrictions in the area of human trafficking , identify gaps in the example of the Russian state. Model - as research methods used should be noted general and specific research methods, including historical and legal, legal system-and other methods. The basis of the study were scientific works in the field of history, international law, analytical materials. Conclusion - the phenomenon of trafficking in persons given special attention throughout the history of this problem . Restrictions and bans human trafficking were observed at all stages of history of struggle against this phenomenon. Scope of the study / the possibility of further use of the results of scientific work - study focuses on prohibitions and restrictions on human trafficking in the territory of the Russian state at different historical stages/ when writing manuals and general works on the history of the state and law, international law, writing special courses, as well as for further research in this area. The practical significance - the position and the conclusions reached in the study may contribute to increased attention to the issues identified, the effectiveness of the fight in the study area. Originality / value - prepared scientific article contains discussion questions and addressed to all who are interested in the fight against trafficking in human beings, in terms of the formation and implementation of state policy of the Russian Federation in the field.
