Abstract:
The purpose of the article is to study the current state of the current of the revolutionary events in Syria and the situation in this country in a complex connection with other Middle Eastern political processes. In the process of research methods of scientific cognition, analysis and synthesis, deduction and induction, forecasting were used. The results show that the Syrian conflict has actually completely transcended the subject field of the events of the "Arab Spring", and in fact defines the main goals of the leading regional and regional countries in the context of their geopolitical confrontation in the context of their own interests in the Middle East. From the options for further developments in the context of this conflict, the genesis of the political processes in the said region will depend. Prospects for further research are related to a detailed analysis of the foreign policy strategy of the countries of the Middle East and possible changes in their foreign policy priorities, as well as the search for ways to resolve the unstable situation in the region.
