Abstract:
The article deals with the Duma of the Russian Federation debate (the 1st session, the 1st convocation) on the Russian policy to the former Yugoslavia conflict. During the debate, the divergence of positions of the Executive and legislative authorities of Russia on Yugoslav affairs was discussed, the struggle for the lifting of sanctions against the Yugoslavia was conducted, public and expert opinion on these problems was considered. The relation of the Russian Federation with foreign States and international organizations in the context of the conflict in the territory of the former Yugoslavia is considered. The documents are the verbatim records of the State Duma meetings.
