Abstract:
Author of this article examines the changes in criminal-legal policy of the Russian Federation on combating road traffic offences committed in a state of intoxication. Based on the analysis of court statistics, various scientific views on the analyzed issue, the author comes to the conclusion about the validity of the enactment of article 264.1 Criminal code of Russian Federation establishing administrative preclusion in determining whether the repeated operation of the vehicle while intoxicated. It is noted the need for more strict regulation of the procedures for verifying the prejudicial administrative act.
