Abstract:

The article is devoted to topical problems of repeated crime and low efficiency of criminal punishment both in theoretical and practical aspects. On the basis of official judicial statistics and the results of the study of criminal cases, a list of the causes of the negative consequences resulting from the execution and serving of criminal sentences for mercenary and violent crimes is presented.
