The Genesis of Responsibility for Medical Crimes in the Sources of Law of the Ancient World

Abstract: The formation and development of the regulation of the responsibility of doctors for their mistakes, as well as intentional violations during medical activity has a very inconsistent character. The development of the art of healing, despite its absolute relevance and significance, has not infrequently enjoyed both neutral and negative attitudes from the state authorities and religion throughout various epochs. The conducted comparative historical and legal research allows us to construct a systematic worldview about the structure and content of the relevant phenomena, it will not only highlight their distinctive features and characteristic features, but also can subsequently become the basis for improving the current legislation.
