Abstract:

In the article are analyzed problems of the relationship between science and ethics. The author supports the point of view of E. Agatstsi, that science, as a system of knowledge and as a form of activity, are differently related with morality. But the author of the article does not agree, that value judgments (the so-called significance judgments) can not enter into the system of scientific knowledge. In general, however, moral conflicts, arising during the conduct of certain scientific research, should be, in the author's opinion, decided specifically and on the basis of a reasonable compromise.
