Abstract:
The article analyzes the activities of the state aimed at supporting the elderly population, coupled with the possibilities of a more active use of the potential of older people. The author considers the existing tools in Russian social policy to improve the well-being of the elderly. And also addresses the problems of reforming the pension system, the ongoing Russian Federation due to the need to adapt to the ongoing macroeconomic and demographic changes
