Abstract:
Background: modern scientists H. Joas and R. Budon made a significant contribution to the problem of the emergence of values, but there are still many «white spots» in it. Particularly interesting is the question of how values are reproduced, translated and retained, why people have a strong commitment to certain values. The author use to the theories of the ritual of E. Durkheim, D. Marshall, K. Lorenz, V. Turner, R. Collins and gives his answer to this question. Materials and methods: the methods of comparison and analysis are used to compare and analyze the content of various scientific concepts. The article uses an axiological approach by a rituals. The generalization method is also used. The field of research was the theory of the ritual of a number of foreign scientists. Conclusion: consideration of the ritual through the prism of a number of scientific theories (anthropological, sociological, biological) made it possible to reveal its influence on the emergence of values. Rituals formation and translation of values due to the sensual and emotional tension of ritual participants, the transfer of knowledge about culturally approved goals and actions to achieve them, the role of moral regulation, as well as the social structure and the assignment of social status. In the axiological aspect, ritual is important because it generates an intersubjective field of social interactions, thereby constituting an objective and universally valid world of values and providing an opportunity for mutual understanding. Possibility of the subsequent use of the results of scientific work. The results can be used for subsequent studies in the field of axiology, in particular, the explanation of the nature of the objectivity of values, and the creation of a philosophical theory of ritual. Practical significance: theoretical conclusions of the article can be used in addressing issues of social integration. Originality: the work is intended for philosophers who underestimate the concept of «ritual» in their studies, as well as all those interested in questions of rituals and axiology.
