Abstract:

This article examines the problems of the Institute of presidency in the Russian Federation through the prism of constitutional and legal support of the powers of the head of state. The relevance of the article is due to the versatility of the functions of the President of Russia, the relationship with the activities of the Executive branch of power, occupied position in the governance structure of the country. When writing the article, the scientific literature on the subject of research, as well as normative legal acts regulating the activities of the head of state were analyzed.
